Hi! I'm a 20 year old girl from Germany currently on a 3 month cycling adventure through Europe. I grew up in the South West of Germany before moving to Scotland to work and explore a new country. This gave me a chance to become immersed in the Scottish culture and become very fluent in English. I am now in love with travel and discovering new opportunities!

Together with my Boyfriend from New Zealand we have started a 3 month adventure cycling our way through Europes most beautiful countries. We are not very experienced cyclists and have a relativity small budget for a 3 month trip but have a very strong desire to experience europe in such a special and immersive way. I love to discover local culture and meeting new and interesting people to get away from the traditional tourist ways of travelling.

I think stories are soul of travelling and so I love to hear and share amazing stories about travel and experiences. Both my Boyfriend and I love photography and want to document and share our amazing adventure with as many people as we can!

I am fluent in German and English and have learnt French in School so I can still have a few conversations in French.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have never used couch surfing before but have heard so many amazing things about how it connects locals with travellers and allows for a true and authentic experience when discovering different cultures and places. We hope to primarily use Couchsurfing while in our three month cycle tour adventure as it allows us to meet new amazing people and hopefully make new friends all around the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the last 6 months my life has changed completely and last minute I decided to change my study plans and instead see as much of the world as I can before attending university. Three months ago I was applying for universities in Germany and now I've started a multiple month long (almost 4000km) cycle tour through Europe on borrowed bikes with my boyfriend from New Zealand. (We both don't know much about cycling) But we are having to learn very very quickly!

What I Can Share with Hosts

We are young but we have a wealth of experiences and stories as collectively between us we have visited over twenty countries and explored many different cultures. We are both interested in photography and have a lot of knowledge about capturing and documenting places and travelling and would love to share some of this knowledge.
