ABOUT ME

i wonder what to write here, as i don't think there's a lot to say, but we'll see. i'm 18 years old and just about to finish school, what makes me really happy, 'cause it feels like leaving many things behind that stopped me from being what i want to be. the last years i lived in a boarding school and it's this school that is the biggest part of my life at the moment i guess. it's a school of languages and so this is my passion, the thing i'm really good at: talking :P
seriously: i LOVE to get to know other people from other countries (as people in germany seem to be quite...cold-hearted. i know this isn't the case most of the time, but i know the wrong people too, so this is why i joined couchsurfing...^^)
ok, what else... i'm planning to travel as much as i can and see and learn as much as possible in my life. and as it's getting difficult to write about myself - if you're interested just write a message or come over to germany. i'll be glad to meet you, whoever you are :)

PHILOSOPHY

a friend of mine always says "la vie est belle" (life is beautiful, what pretty much explains my philosophy. i try to make the best of every situation and always give more than i take (which is so hard, you won't believe it)
but what do i live my life for if not bringing good to the people around me?

saxophone (although, there's still a lot of work to do 'til i'll be a good player)
books (unfortunately i have way to little time to read..)
people (whoever, everybody is a treasure for others in some way. learning from others and seeing them learning from me just makes me so happy)
sunshine (does this count as interest? a book, some trees and the sun shining down on me... yes, this is what i'm interested in :))
languages !(i wonder why this is not my first point, 'cause communication is what i do all day^^ i'm dreaming of learning at least three more languages...)
peace on earth (i'm serious, but i know, this is going to far here...^^)

music: this changes verx quickly, but i really like music in other languages (at the moment french and spanish) and i like music with messages. so much about lyrics etc. as genre it depends on my mood, but as i'm happy most of the time i just adore "smile-music": ska, reggae, sometimes rock and alternative stuff...
but show me something new that has a melody and i'll probably like it ;)
i recommend mr roux, babylon circus, irie revoltes etc..

books:ok, this is difficult. in general everything but thrillers. i don't like those don't-think-just-read blala-books, but things that make you think about the topic and intend to wake people up...
it's the message, as always^^

movies: recommend please. i forrget what i watched and so... i can't tell. all i know is that horror is something... i'm not too interested in :P
