ABOUT ME

I'm an outdoors adventurous person who enjoys hiking,camping,fishing,running,biking,photography,and travel. I'm easy going and sociable. Been residing in northwest Washington for many years. It's a wonderland and it's home. I'm excited about life though sometimes I do feel an impulse to cross my fingers and hope things work out for the best.

PHILOSOPHY

There isn't a lot of time so live accordingly. Try to get the big picture and make your footprint small. Treat people with kindness and live each moment fully. Laugh a lot. Don't pee on an electric fence unless you really want to.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am fairly new to couchsurfing and thus far have met and become friends with a couple of folks in Nicaragua this past winter and spring. My couch is open and I look forward to hosting and meeting other travelers.

Interests

Anything involving nature and the outdoors gets my attention. I enjoy photography and play some guitar for hobbies. Travelling to new places and meeting new people. Sharing and learning. Good food and red wine are a nice combo. Live music and dancing also go well together. I'm interested in learning permaculture and organic practices and building with natural materials. I definitely want to practice and improve my Spanish.

Teach, Learn, Share

There are a lot of good people on this earth each with experiences and desires. I could learn from all of them. Right now I would like to meet people that are working towards the benefit of the planet and mankind and are wanting and willing to teach what they can. I would like to help with farming and sustainability, health efforts, youth projects, and social needs. As far as teaching, I don't know but I will share what I know and have learned along the way. Play some guitar, speak decent Spanish and know the geography and history of the area I live in pretty well. I know an interesting group of people and believe in the power of networking.
