Love for my community. A passion to travel!

ABOUT ME

i work hard so i can play hard. i am an avid snowboarder, mountain biker, boulderer and love to play host to friends who come to visit flagstaff. my house is stocked with outdoor gear for myself and others so that they have opportunities to experience the best of what northern arizona has to offer.

film is my other love and i am the director of the flagstaff mountain film festival in the fall every year. so much is my passion for film is that i regularly have people over to my outdoor movie theater (indoor in the winter).

PHILOSOPHY

I love to meet new people and see new place and enjoy new experiences. Not to say that I don't appreciate what I have, but the real passion for me in life is seeing, doing, hearing, touching the new and exciting!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Actively involved in my community providing medical care, planning a yearly film festival, and supporting the local music scene with my listening ears.

For my circle of friends, my house is the social meeting spot for several events through the year.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have hosted several travelers and love it! love getting to know them and their stories (and them mine) and to bring them out on local adventures!

Interests

Love the outdoors! Snowboarding, mountain biking and bouldering are my favorites but also love to hike, disc golf, and explore.

I see several films a week as part of a guilty pleasure. Anything from Sci-fi to documentaries, i love it all (except cheesy horror films) Other interests are photography, music, and great conversation.

for those interested in bouldering, priest's draw is just outside of town and will keep you busy for days of gorgeous limestone in pondersoa pine forest.
