ABOUT ME

I am 33, cultured and refined...just kidding. I am described by friends as quirky. I love adventures, misadventures, traveling, and not going anywhere in particular. I studied biology, environmental science way back when and more recently Respiratory Care. I am working on a way to become a permanent ski bum and river rat. I like hiking, biking (not mountain biking) rafting, siking and snowboarding. I like to do all kinds of stuff. I do enjoy a good chat:) I love meeting new people and learning new stuff.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I am just getting back into the Couch Surfing thing. A friend of mine got me into it and I think it is pretty rad. I have been very mobile for the last few years or living in the boonies, but now I am finally able to host surfers! Too bad I live in Idaho!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have yet to have any rad stories from officially surfing, but have done some unofficial surfing due to really nice strangers offering a place to stay to a tired cyclist. People like that rock my socks.

Interests

Lets see...riding my bike, swimming (any type of water will do), hiking, canoeing, dancing, honestly I really like most things and if I have never done it before that just makes it better.

Music: I like it all. YMSB, Santigold, Flight of the Concords, Theviery Corporation, Leo Kottkey, The Shins, Goldfinger, Sia, and First Aid Kit especially at the moment.

Books: Stuff by Jasper Fford, Cat's Cradle, The Life of Pi, etc... if it has words I will probably read it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rode my bicycle from Auckland to Dunedin. I totally recomend long distances on a bike in an unfamilair country.

I have been doing pottery for quite some time. Also, I have vast amounts of really useless knowledge.
