ABOUT ME

I'm a 30-year-old travel photographer from Canada. I'm relatively new to the profession and thus still very good at not making money, but I'm working my tail off to change that trend. I grew up in Canada, but I have traveled a fair amount during my life. The longest I have spent in a foreign country is a year in Japan teaching English. In the next couple years, I plan on officially changing my residence status to 'nomad.'

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In Japan, I was hot to plenty of folks who got stayed too late in my small city to catch any more trains home. I never had any complaints about my hosting abilities (even though I probably could have kept a cleaner apartment). Similarly, I made similar stopovers at other friends' houses in Japan and always had a great time hanging out.

Interests

Photography and travel are at the top of the list. Music, movies and books come in third. After that, I'm pretty much into anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If I have to pick one, Machu Picchu at sunrise is right up there. But I've been pretty lucky to have some rather incredible experiences in my life, so that's a tough choice.
