PHILOSOPHY

oh mama. "Why do you live your life?" it asks. i think that is the most personal question a computer screen has ever asked me. in fact i don't think any human has ever asked me to answer that precise question either. it would be an unprecedented miracle of the english language to be able to provide me with the exploding livecstatic lovevolving cherishment that could even loosely approximate an answer to that question. i love.

phish is gospel church to me. bluegrass (i heart cornmeal) and blues feed my soul from the bottoms of my feet. right now i have some serious-ass daily loyalty to neko case, talking heads, patti smith, bright eyes, billy holiday, boombox, lissie, arcade fire, and jill scott.
