ABOUT ME

we came across to Adelaide in december for a family xmas, we decided we weren't in any hurry to get back to newcastle so we are in Oz until July! we have bought a van (big jim) and have already driven across to Perth to see a friend, and travelled up the west coast to Ningaloo reef (BEAUTIFUL!)

We are back down in Perth sleeping in the van on our friends driveway and he recommended couch surfing to find other friendly people with empty driveways!

We have been together for around 5 years now and have travelled together to many countries, we lived in France and Japan working in ski resorts, and we are loving our trip around Australia!

PHILOSOPHY

I saw a puppy at the beach (this is a true story) he was black and white and young. He was excited and panting and leaping and jumping and bowling and falling around in front of a little girl that was its owner. I was with Ben and my younger cousin at the time who said "look at him! hes loving every step" and I thought what better way than to live like that-
Love every step.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We will certainly certainly have people over to stay when we have a solid- non-moving home- which may be in Newcastle or Chamonix France. We love meeting new people.
We are hoping to have a friend in our Nullabor trip later this month too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is the first time we have logged on to couchy, but we have heard some wonderful things about it. We are staying at a friends house in Perth at the minute and are also staying with 2 lovely girls from France who got here through couch surfing; who encouraged us to sign up. When we had a base that was a solid house and not a traveling van we loved having friends, and friends of friends stay with us. We have been lucky enough to have the same experience and have been hosted by friends of friends in Prauge. I love the idea of the site and will certainly puff up a pillow or two for other travelers when we return!
