Overview
About Me
So, long story short…I'm a California kid with a West Coast heart and an East Coast mind. Moved out to Washington D.C. about five years ago for grad school.
I thrive off of new experiences, adventures and challenges. "Think globally. Act locally." is one of my favorite mottos.
Professionally, I’ve focused my efforts on changing the world for the better. I fiercely advocate for issues that are important to me -- promoting civil and human rights, protecting the environment, and enhancing the integrity of the American political system are three issues that I care deeply about.
As a political nerd and activist, my move out to D.C. was a no brainer. When I'm not studying or working on the Hill you can find me in Columbia Heights at the local coffee shop with my boyfriend Richard or at the 9:30 club catching a live show. I'm loving D.C. and always enjoy making new friends, so don’t be a stranger.

Music, Movies, and Books
Love every -- okay most -- types of music... especially live music! Love a good DJ set. And always down to dance salsa... :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love, love, love to have an opportunity to share the gift of YOGA with others in the community! I've been practicing for over 10 years and recently just completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2015.
I currently teach at the Yoga District in Washington, D.C. and love to host free community classes.
