Hey everyone! My name's Rory Connolly/Ruairí Ó Conghaile and I'm from Dublin in Ireland. I'm 25 and currently saving up to head off travelling again. I work a few jobs and at the moment am a waiter in a restaurant, a pub crawl guide, as well as an historical tour guide here in Dublin city. In one month's time I will be starting a course for an English teaching qualification, so all of that delightful work will have to end soon. I absolutely love travelling and meeting new people and can't wait to be gone again. I have a keen interest in languages and can speak German to a decent level, Irish (or Gaeilge as it's called here) to a fair level, and I have just begun learning French. Unfortunately I can sing better in French than speaking so trying to rectify that. I play guitar, ukulele, and can sing so I love meeting other musicians and just seeing what we can come up with. Irish tend to have music in their blood so we're pretty lucky in that sense!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I said, I'll be leaving Ireland relatively soon and just want to meet as many people as possible on my travels. I've never couch surfed before so I think that this could be a really interesting and exciting new experience!
