Never much good at writing about me... I live in a piece of bushy paradise above the Tweed river with my blue cattle pup - my place is called "Tumbletop". I like it here because its peaceful, with the sounds of birds, koala bears (at night) and the cicada's - yet its only 20 mins to the Gold Coast airport. But i have no close neighbours so if I feel like playing JJ Cale up loud, I won't be annoying anyone. I try for one proper adventure per year and more if time and money permit. I love things with a story, food with a difference, and old wine & whisky.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I like to meet others having an adventure. Some of the more memorable times i have had around the world is staying with people who have been kind enough to put me up. I haven't used couch surfing yet, and i would be interested to see where these experiences may lead!

兴趣

Food & cooking - motor bike travel - I have a 70's landrover to tinker on & travel in - i water ski in the Tweed river when i can - camping in the bush - i enjoy gardening (for vegies mostly) - and hanging out with interesting people & old friends. I have 2 daughters who have left home & who love to travel when we can.

音乐、电影和书籍

Music taste is varied but love the blues, the rock of the 70's, and anything since that has some soul to it. Movies - Blues Brothers is a fav, but anything that makes me think for days afterwards (7 Psychopaths, Pulp fiction, Last cab to darwin, Boy, Memento etc) . Books - A good biography of tough journeys (Ernest Shackleton or Francis Bootle) - a quirky story (The Rosie Project)
