About Me

Just another British backpacker with a passion for travelling! I just graduated this summer and I'm taking a year out before starting my masters.

I play rugby when I'm back home and do indoor bouldering and climbing wherever I go :)

I make it my mission to be as open minded and tolerant a person as possible, always down to discuss new ideas or topics

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Locals are the best way to get to know a new area :) and it's so much nicer to stay at a place when you have an opportunity to make a connection with the host! I love staying in hostels too but it's fun to mix things up

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and some other generic ones
Books: Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, Discworld series (Terry Pratchett), Lord of the Rings, A song of ice and fire... basically anything fantasy or Sci Fi

Music: most things! Not a massive fan of pop but that's just because I hear it all the time. House, dance, techno, rock, hip hop, grime, classical, metal, soul, funk, reggae. A few of my favourites are; The Strokes, MF Doom, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Sister Nancy, Avalon Emerson, Onra, Tupac and the list goes on

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed Kilimanjaro (tallest mountain in Africa) to raise £3000 for a charity called Dig Deep, it was one of the hardest things I've done physically and mentally, but it was so worth it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always down to learn a new skill but I'm not sure how transferable my own skills are! I'd be happy to try and teach some math or the basics to rugby though

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good company, open discussion, a ready laugh and I'll bring something to drink as well (anything from tea to whiskey).

I love listening to stories and having my views challenged, and I've done quite a few cool things and had some awesome experiences so let me tell you about them :)
