ABOUT ME

I'm a fun loving thrill seeker who's always up for a good time, having fun and meeting new people. I always try to push myself to try new things and encounter new experiences, big or small. I find myself in a good situation in my life at the moment and relish the opportunity to share it with friends, couchsurfers, people I encounter in random situations or even the crowd down the local pub.

PHILOSOPHY

To go travelling without preconceptions and have only an open mind and a wide scope for immersing yourself in new experiences. To try and make the best of each situation and learn, be they positive occurrences or mistakes to avoid making in the future.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed Southern France to find a great city to live in and ended up choosing Marseille. I host people regularly and enjoy attending meetings as I'm always up for getting out of the house

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosted in France, Germany, Greece, Portugal and Ireland.
All amazing places, always amazing people. Everyone's so generous and giving it's hard to want to leave.

Playing and listening to music, painting, creative writing (poetry and am also writing a book about my travel experiences), scuba diving, juggling and especially rock climbing.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Being in the Blue Mountains in Katoomba, Australia.
Travelling through Slovakia and Czech Republic teaching English to schoolkids. I now work as a translator/interpreter.
I go on as many climbing trips as I can and now I live in Marseille - it's possible to go every weekend to the Calanques and always discover a new place to explore and climb.

Always up for doing language exchanges - I'm really trying to improve my Italian at the moment so I can exchange for English/French. I'll get onto Spanish later.....
I taught English for a while and am currently writing a book about my experiences interpreting for refugees. Would eventually love to end up writing a collection of travel books and getting them published.
I learned to juggle when I was 8; I've taught hundreds of people how to.
