ABOUT ME

I've lived in central London for a while now, but still feel like there are at least a hundred thousand places here left to explore; I'm certainly not going to tire of living here for a while!

*** CHRISTMAS 2012 ***

I'm going to be having some friends come stay with me over the holiday period - but we'd really love to have a couple of couchsurfers come keep us company for a few days too!

London pretty much shuts down on Christmas Day and the day after: there's no public transport, and most shops, restaurants, bars, galleries, etc will be closed. We're planning to spend the time at home with board games, wine, an open fire, and some seriously good food... so it'd be great if you would like to join in!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friends and I have hosted a bunch of couchsurfers, and have had some really fun experiences. We've found that some of the best times are to be had when having a drink or two at our local pub - it's a great way to relax and share stories and experiences.

Movies: primarily arthouse, but I do watch the odd bit of Hollywood too. Not a big TV watcher, though I do tend to soak up box sets every so often (Mad Men and Game of Thrones being the most recent).

Music: Indiepop, Acoustic-y Folksy nonsense, Jazz, Downtempo electronica

Books: I'm a big readers; literary fiction, design, and a bit of sci-fi when I need some escapism!
