Me, 25 and my boyfriend, 27, are going on a half year journey around the world. We are both students. My bf just finished his studies to become a teacher and I just need a break from my engineering degree. We have both traveled lots in the past and are happy to be able to now share this travel experience together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As we are backpacking the world, we would like to get to know the culture and people of each country first hand. The easiest way to do so, is by sharing a home with locals and exchange experiences and impressions - and make many more togehter.

I have priorly lived abroad and know how terrible it feels to always be a foreigner. Therefore I am more than happy to become "part of a culture and country" at least for a short moment.

Anyone can go on the touristy track but theres not many who have actually seen the real beauty of a country and its people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked a vulcano in Bali for sunset, bungee-jumping in Macau, lived in a monkey forest, went whale watching with local fishermen, so much more...

We would love to learn more about the countries we are visiting and its people. As a local you know your culture and country and we'd love to know more about it. In exchange we are happy to tell you more about our country and places we have visited. We are more than happy to cook up a dinner for you too or prepare a local dish with you together if you are up for it!
