Hi there!!! We are Guillem&Rosa, a couple a little bit different from each other:
- He has both feet on the ground, focused and responsible. He tries to be always punctual.
- She dreamy, determined and quite crazy. You'll never see her stressed :-) hahaha
Any points in common? We are cheerful, a bit funny, quite sleepy, and maybe, many times, we also consider ourselves good people.... So well, maybe we're not so different, we're definitely common people! as the Pulp song says:-)

You know the best thing? Our eyes are curious enough to want to see beyond our windows. We love to travel and, as much as possible, on holidays you won't find us at home.

Actualización 2024: ahora no solo somos Guillem y Rosa, sino también nuestros dos gatos negros adoptados: Nepal y Cocoa, esperemos que te guste pasar tiempo con ellos si vienes a nuestro pisito.

¡¡Hola!! Somos Guillem y Rosa, una pareja un poquito diferentes entre nosotros:
- Él tiene los pies en la tierra, es centrado y responsable. Trata de ser siempre puntual.
- Ella es soñadora, determinada y alocada. Nunca la verás estresada. :-) jajaja
¿Algún punto en común? Somos alegres, también divertidos, bastante dormilones y, tal vez muchas veces, también nos consideremos buenas personas ... Así que bien, quizás no seamos tan diferentes. ¡Definitivamente somos personas normales! :-)

¿Y sabes lo mejor? Nuestros ojos son lo suficientemente curiosos como para querer ver más allá de nuestras ventanas. Nos encanta viajar y, siempre que podemos, durante las vacaciones no nos encontrarás en casa.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

The first time we heard about couchsurfing (CS) was through some friends, and we thought it was an amazing social network.

Some time later, even without having a profile in this community, we lived a kind of CS encounter; we met two Lithuanian girls who were lost in our city without a train to get back to their destination. So we decided to host them that night, we just wanted to help them.

The final push to decide to create a CS profile was during the time we lived in Poland. The opportunity to meet people from all over Europe, with so many different customs and traditions and, to see how we can learn so many things from each other, became the final decision.

And the best thing about CS is that you don't always have to be the one traveling to meet great people, we have found that hosting travelers on our couch can be great too! :-)

La primera vez que escuchamos hablar de couchsurfing (CS) fue a través de amigos, y pensamos que era una red social increíble.

Un tiempo después, incluso sin un perfil aún en esta comunidad, vivimos una especie de encuentro CS: conocimos a dos chicas lituanas que se perdieron en nuestra ciudad sin ningún tren ya para volver a su destino. Así que decidimos alojarlas esa noche, solo queríamos ayudarlas.

El impulso final para decidir crear un perfil CS fue durante nuestro tiempo viviendo en Polonia. La oportunidad de conocer a gente de toda Europa, con tantas costumbres y tradiciones diferentes, y de ver cómo uno puede aprender de los demás, se convirtió en la decisión final.

Lo mejor de CS es que no siempre debes ser el que viaja para conocer gente genial, hemos visto que hospedar a los viajeros en nuestro sofá también puede ser increíble. :-)

Obviously we love to travel, discover new places and never stop exploring. We prefer to walk as much as we can to explore wherever we are, we love to get lost while walking. And anywhere seems great to us, whether it's a big city, like in the middle of the forest or in the mountains.

More personally...
- Rosa, apart from being a crazy reader, also loves to draw. Lately she is getting interested in photography.
- Guillem likes sports, he can enjoy any kind of sport. He not only played soccer for quite a long time, but also coached youth soccer teams.

Obviamente nos encanta viajar, descubrir nuevos lugares y nunca dejamos de explorar. Preferimos caminar todo lo que podemos para explorar dondequiera que estemos, nos encanta perdernos mientras caminamos. Y cualquier sitio nos parece genial, ya sea una gran ciudad, como en medio del bosque o la montaña.

Más personalmente...
- Rosa, además de ser una loca de la lectura, también le encanta dibujar. Últimamente se está interesando por la fotografía.
-A Guillem le gusta el deporte, puede disfrutar de cualquier tipo de deporte. No solo jugó a fútbol durante bastante tiempo, sino que también fue entrenador de equipos de fútbol de alevines

音乐、电影和书籍

Guillem likes books related to the Second World War, books about real stories, social conflicts and autobiographies of interesting characters. He basically likes comedy movies, but prefers movies at home, on the couch with some popcorn.

Some of Rosa's favorite movies are “Dead poets society” and “V for Vendetta”. She loves to read and is passionate about manga and anime. If she never gets lost on a desert island, please send her tons of music albums and books, she couldn't live without them. :-)

A Guillem le gustan los libros relacionados con la Segunda Guerra Mundial, libros sobre historias reales, conflictos sociales y autobiografías de personajes interesantes. Le gustan básicamente las películas de comedia, pero prefiere el cine en casa, en el sofá con palomitas hechas en casa.

Algunas de las películas favoritas de Rosa son "El Club de los Poetas Muertos" y "V de Vendetta". El apasiona leer y le encanta el manga y anime. Si nunca se pierde en una isla desierta, por favor enviadle miles de discos de música y muchos, muchos libros. No podría vivir sin ellos. :-)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

We don't know if it's mind-blowing enough for everyone, but for us, leaving everything and starting our dream has been the best thing in our life. One day, in 2015, we left our comfort zone, quit our jobs and started an incredible journey through Southeast Asia with no return date (we spent almost 2 years travelling) :-)

At the end of 2017 we came back to our hometown; now we work and live with our cats. We take advantage of all our holidays to keep exploring this world. Despite only traveling on holidays, we still have habits left from our traveling dream: local food and transport, backpacking instead of suitcases, meeting local people, hitchhiking or wanting to travel slowly even if it takes longer, are some of them.

Sometimes we miss those days traveling, but we have good memories in our blog and instagram:

No sabemos si es lo suficientemente alucinante para todo el mundo, pero para nosotros, dejarlo todo y empezar nuestro sueño ha sido lo mejor de nuestra vida. Un día que salimos de nuestra zona de confort, dejamos nuestros trabajos y empezamos un viaje increible por el Sudeste Asiático sin fecha de regreso. (estuvimos casi 2 años viajando) :-)

En 2017 regresamos a nuestra ciudad natal; ahora trabajamos y vivimos con nuestros gatos. Aprovechamos todas nuestras vacaciones para seguir explorando este mundo. Pese a solo viajar en vacaciones, aun nos quedan costumbres de nuestro sueño viajero: transporte y comida local, mochila en lugar de maletas, conocer a gente del lugar, autostop o querer viajar despacio aunque tardemos más, son algunas de ellas.

A veces echamos de menos esos dias viajando, pero tenemos buenos recuerdos en nuestro blog e instagram:

Adventures, lots of adventures. We have so many anecdotes to tell from our trip through Southeast Asia, it seemed like we lived adventures every day. Some were fun, others not so much, but now with time they always make us smile.

We can also share and talk about our culture, language, or country. If you are interested, we can also try to cook some typical food from our land, we are vegetarians at home.

Teaching, learning and sharing is something we are always willing to do. That's why we are in CS.

Aventuras, muchas aventuras. Tenemos muchisimas anecdotas que explicar de nuestro viaje por el Sudeste Asiático, sentimos que vivimos aventuras todos los días. Algunas fueron divertidas, otras no tanto, pero ahora con el tiempo siempre nos hacen sonreír.

También podemos compartir y hablar de nuestra cultura, idioma, país. Si te interesa, también podemos intentar cocinar alguna comida típica de nuestra tierra, eso si, en casa somos vegetarianos.

Enseñar, aprender y compartir es algo que siempre estamos dispuestos a hacer. Por eso estamos en CS.
