ABOUT ME

I'm going to Tokyo for 5 months from August 2011 as an intern in the Danish Embassy. I've never been to Japan before, but I'm looking very much forward to going there and experiencing Japanese culture.
Previously I've lived in France for 6 months, and I've been to Tanzania, New Delhi, New York, Kosovo and many other places. Just love travelling! I'd love to make Japanese friends (and other CS-friends, too, of course!) while I'm in Tokyo, so drop me a line and we can go out for a coffee or something. I'm arriving mid-August 2011.

Interests

I have a million interests, so it's difficult to sum up in a few lines. I watch a lot of movies, read a lot of comics, and draw on every blank surface.
Travelling, listening to nerdy podcasts, art, learning foreign languages, memory techniques, going out, cooking vegetarian food, spending time with my friends, political debate, and flee market-hunting are on my list of favourite activities..

Music, Movies, and Books

Best movies: "Scanner Darkly", "A bout de souffle", "Old Boy", "Happiness", "Scream", "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind", "Volver", "Dr. Strangelove", "The Fall", "Back to the Future", "Fight Club" and whatever hindi movie, musical or cheaply produced slasher I run into.

As to books, I spend an awful lot of money on graphic novels, well-written novels, and popular science books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Safari in Serengeti pops into my mind as an obvious candidate, but Flaming Lips live at Roskilde Festival 2007 was absolutely amazing as well - close to magic.
