Well, the 'My Interest' section really sums me up. I'm not particularly skilled at writing descriptions without getting lost in the details - detailed, that I am! I am an independent thinker and question everything around me, but feel a deep understanding at the same time. I see the world in a lot of shades, with very little black and white.

I'm on a proactive mission to change my life, emigrate and get away, as much as possible, from a society where debt and ecocide are the norm. It's a challenging journey, but the challenge is also where the reward lies. (Currently saving money to buy land.)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to experience a more adventurous, alternative kind of holiday that doesn't come with the sterile, business-like feeling that is attached to your average accommodation.

It would be even better to find hosts who share our philosophy - 'our' because I'm not a solo traveller; this is something I want to experience with my significant other. :-)

That said, I also find it important to give back, and that's something my partner and I certainly plan on doing once our home base is set up. We might even inspire people to do the same!
