About Me

Complimenting one person a day:

April 2011:
Trying to live now.
Passionate about music: Jazz. Baroque. Alternative. Indie. Anything...
Always up for a walk.
Awaking to the smell of coffee- perfect morning.
Practicing patience while babysitting a 7 weeks old girl.
Trying to get rid of stereotypes.
Hoping that there is a purpose in every person's life.
Finding an adequate balance between trusting the way things go and being open for whatever is there reaching out for me but not forgetting about my own ability to act and change circumstances.
Researching for a guy who makes the world a better place.
Trying to make the world a better place by smiling at strangers and giving whatever I can give.
Studying psychology.
Dreaming of writing a book.
Fresh fruits make my day.
And chocolate.
Love unexpected incidents: A ray of sunlight through grey clouds, The sound of music at a dark place, A warm memory coming up through sad thoughts.
Collecting as many beautiful experiences as possible by learning anything I can learn from the encounters crossing my path.

Update May 2012:
Working at an online NGO at the moment: Discovering the world wide web all over and getting the chance to see a thousand great ideas to make the world a better place every day :)
Finally learning how to write.
Becoming a yoga teacher!

Update August 2013:
Teaching yoga on a regular basis! So enriching.
In love with the herbs I planted.
Have been studying Philosophy and Psychology in the small small town of Bonn for almost a year: Impressed by how much cultures within Germany differ. Still arriving there...
Singing again!
Working at the Institute for Bioethics. Trying to deal with eutanasia, biodiversity and lots of other big questions.
After 21 years of beloved Berlin city dirt, constantly enjoying the most beautiful countryside you could find yourself surrounded by: Wineyards, castles, old villages all connected by the impressive Rhine..
Future plans: San Francisco. Hell yeah.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd love to get in touch with new people all over the world by either sleeping on their couch or showing them some beautiful corners of Berlin, grabbing a coffee..

since i started couchsurfing in april 2011, i have been meeting countless wonderful people whenever I used CS. Sometimes I regret that most encounters are only short time, wishing that I could actually stay in touch with most of the couchsurfers (which is a funny thing to say because I am so bad at keeping in touch). On the other hand, the intensity in one-time conversations and shared moments can be quite impressive..

pretty much anything I haven't tried so far... Stuff I have tried and I have sticked with: Music. Dancing. Philosophy and psychology. Yoga. Running. Lazy afternoons in the park. Partying. Going for a walk when the evening is balmy...More or less anything you can do outside. Reading and hearing about other peoples experiences. Reflecting on my own life and discussing the results of that.

Music, Movies, and Books

too many to list now, will do soon.
