About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To provide a friendly place for people from all over the world to relax and be able to explore this amazing city. To pay back the world for our good fortune! To be inspired and interested everyday.

ABOUT ME

Myself and my partner Jon are both teachers in our 30's who have done some travelling ourselves but are now quite firmly planted in our current suburb of London. This is due to jobs, family and expecting a new baby in April! We have managed to find a large flat near a train line which goes straight into London and have a spare room so are now fulfilling a dream of being able to host couch surfers. There are other house mates who are easy going and a nice bath/shower and big kitchen. There is a pool table and communal room where we eat and play music. Jon plays guitar and myself the banjo and there is also a piano. We like sharing meals with people and just getting to know other people's opinions, was of life, languages and dreams etc.

PHILOSOPHY

Stand up to the bullies! Follow your heart. Be the change. Resistance is fertile. People are our wealth.

Jon might say...tread lightly and try not to hurt people but never be bored!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment having a spare room and being open to hosting people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been to a couchsurfing festival in Switzerland and done some meet ups but never actually stayed with anyone. I'm more of a wwoofer as when I go on holiday I like to go to the country.
