ABOUT ME

I'm 24, I am a happy sort of person with a creative take on life. My interests are pretty wideranging and I enjoy meeting new people. I'm vegetarian and interested in being as eco-friendly and thoughtful of the world as I can. I work as a cadet aboard the youth development ship 'Spirit of New Zealand' and as a freelance illustrator and writer. In my time off the ship I love exploring wild places and having adventures :)

PHILOSOPHY

The only thing you can control in life is your attitude! So you may as well have a good one. Ideally I would like to be able to make decisions like an adult and play like a child. I think cynicism is a waste of our time on this planet.

Música, películas y libros

All kinds of music from classical to country, lots of movies but I forget them very easily for some reason (top favourites would be Room with a View, The Taming of the Shrew (BBC), This way of Life and Labyrinth).... Books: The Poisonwood Bible, Brother of the More Famous Jack, The Old Man and the Sea, The Romantic Movement, Captains Courageous, Kim, Brave New World, The Brothers Lionheart, My family and Other Animals, Alex Quartet by Tessa Duder...

Definitely seeing baby dolphins leaping to catch stingrays metres from where I was swimming!

Hmmm... I can teach piano but it's not a very transportable instrument!! Same with sailing...
I can teach rope stuff, splicing and seizing and all that... and um... knitting?
