We're Harry and Louise, a couple who moved from England to Heidelberg two years ago. Harry is a proper Brit: he likes the rolling hills and a good cuppa tea. He works in Frankfurt as a Software Engineer and loves everything to do with the environment, biodiversity, trees and animals. I am doing my PhD in Public Health and Heidelberg University. I love crafting, creating, doing yoga and the outdoors. We both go climbing and bouldering a lot here in Heidelberg, and swing the occasional leg at a lindy hop party. We are complemented by our wonderful dog Polly. She's 11 years old and her interests include chasing cats, eating and sleeping. Oh wait, those are all her interests ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We both benefitted from this community when we were young and broke and want to give back now we have a place of our own and a comfy sofa bed. We also love meeting people from around the world and hearing travelling stories!
