ABOUT ME

Sitting with two of my friends and asking them this exact question I can relay their response. My personal qualities are that I am a keen traveller, up for a good time, adventurous, always positive and always looking for new experiences. I enjoy good food, good music and good company.

PHILOSOPHY

I now it's cliche but I really believe in living every day to the full. There's no use waiting for life to happen, you have to go out and make it happen.

I love to surf and hopefully host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I think that couch surfing is an amazing way to meet new people and experience a city in a totally different way. With the inside knowledge you can gain, cities become more alive and have more of a personality and personal feel.
I've been couch surfing a few times and it has always been an amazing experience which I hope to continue. The kindness of strangers has saved me from being stranded, helped when I've been lost, and look after me and other friends when we've been in need.
I am yet to host anyone myself but hope that when I have a spare space in London I hope will be able to give back what I have received.

My interests are incredibly varied, but the things that really make my life engaging are new opportunities. Meeting new people, exploring new places, exchanging stories and playing good music. I'm a keen musician and enjoy being creative with how I play and with what I write. When in a new place I love to try and get off the beaten track and find unique and unusual experiences. I particularly enjoy small and quirky bars, cafes and sites and making the most of the inside knowledge that you can gain from couch surfing.

My music taste is eclectic, I enjoy most genres and my favourites change regularly. I am currently really into exploring indie, alternative and electric music. I love musical exchanges, especially people introducing me to new music and I love hearing the songs others love and what they mean to them.
My movie taste is also very eclectic, I love comedies (particularly dark comedies), action, thriller (especially the more psychological ones), films that make you think and i'm not ashamed to admit I like a good romcom every now and then.
I love reading and am currently making my way through a long list of recommendations from friends. Always looking for new recommendations!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have had so many great travelling experiences it's impossible to choose one! From hitchhiking across Europe and restoring my faith in the kindness of strangers, to volunteering in a psychiatric facility in Sri Lanka and giving back what I learnt in my degree, to working for a crazy 12 hour jungle rave in Southern Cambodia, to diving all the amazing wrecks out in Malta, to being invited to play music across SE Asia quite literally singing for our supper, to sleeping on rooftops in Morocco, to working on an Eco farm in rural Chiang Mai and being fully immersed in Thai culture. The list is continuously extending and I have some pretty crazy stories to tell.

I can definitely share entertaining stories, friendly company and an open mind. I'm also happy to teach whatever I can, whether this is baking cakes, playing guitar, and how to say cheers in the language of almost every country I've been to.
