Hello! I'm born and raised in Sweden where I study linguistics and psychology, but come vacation I'm usually travelling (eg right now) so I'm not always available as a host. I love meeting new people with whom I can have new adventures and share stories with, and I enjoy the small things in life that makes a person happy to be alive.

I think the best way to experience a country is by meeting and exchanging experiences with the people who live there. To find not only the tourist attractions but also the best café, a good spot for skinnydipping, a movietheater for independent films and other jewels... Also, I like making friends and by my experience, people who are willing to open up their homes are usually the best kind of people ;)

I can´t just choose one :P I mostly listen to rock/metal like System of a down, Opeth, Rush, Red hot chili peppers etc although I enjoy all kinds of music really. Folk music is always nice! Favorite movies include Grave of the fireflies, Amelie and The land before time and favorite books would probably be The Lord of the rings and How to train your dragon.

I took the transmongolian train from Moscow to Beijing (with another stop in Ulaan Baatar) by myself a few summers back, which was really scary since I don't speak any of those languages ^^* But I had a great time with other travellers until I finally arrived in Tokyo in time for my studies in japanese :D
