ABOUT ME

I have always been interested in two things, traveling and music. When I was twelve I wanted to see every continent in one month, on a horse, with just my Walkman for company. Being a little older and wiser by now, I have seen a little bit of South-East Asia, and that just made me thirst for more. I started university in September 2008, after I came back from roaming Asia, but my feet kept itching from being too long in the same place. So February 2010 I left for Asia once more and ended with 3 months in the Middle-East, before starting to study again. Next September I will start medicine and to survive until I finished the study that will keep me pinned down in Groningen for 6 years, I'm always looking forward to meet new people, to give me a taste of the wide world, right there on my own couch.

And the regular things; I like hanging out with friends, doing sports, watching good movies, going to clubs, bars etc. and generally just having a good time with people. What I like about meeting people from other countries/cultures is that they show you your own world through different eyes.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is about experiences. In the end, that's all there is to it, right? Without experiences there will be no feelings, thoughts and no personal evolving. So I live my life, trying to do as much things as I possibly can, trying to enjoy every moment (cliche, yeah... so sue me ;) )

Music: lot's. For example; Porcupine Tree, Banco de Gaia, dr Lektroluv, Justice, Mogwai, Sigur Ros, The Swell Season. Almost everything from ambient, electronic, darkwave to hardtrance and your usual rock.

Books: Game of Thrones & Robin Hobb's Trilogies are the ones I bought last.

Movies: Once. The Fall. The Fountain. Spirited Away. Into the Wild. Vanilla Sky. And more :)
