I am born and raised in New Zealand, when I was 20 I left and didn’t return until Covid. During those years I worked and traveled all over the world spending months in one place to really enjoy. I also lived in and spent a lot of time in the Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe.

During Covid I studied International Relations and Religious Studies, I am not religious I just find the role religion plays in shaping our world very interesting especially when it come to conflict and the role is plays and the way it is used my people in power. I have a masters in conflict and development which I did in Belgium and focused on Iraqi religious minorities for my thesis.

I am currently living in Buka Bougainville in Papua New Guinea. I am here with New Zealand Volunteer Service Abroad working with Plan International. I am here until the end of of 2024.

I live right next to the airport within walking distance of town or a short PMV ride if it’s to hot to walk. I have a beautiful house and have a spare room and plenty of floor space in the lounge.

I work Monday to Friday but can be flexible on times. On the weekends I am usually out exploring the island. I live in a village and spend my evenings sitting around talking with everyone so you would really get to enjoy the locals and their humour.
