Hello! I'm a 31 y/o woman from the U.S. that has decided to jump on the opportunity to backpack through Europe with my good friend! I like to draw and paint, and I have recently taken up ceramics as an art form as well. I'm an avid reader, and I'm hoping to self-publish a book of poems in the next year. I also love to hike, kayak, and generally explore nature. Oh, and I'm a trained astrologer!

So many friends have recommended it! I am excited to meet locals and have the opportunity to really experience what it's like to live in each place that I'm visiting. My friend and I plan to do Workaway for most of our trip, but we are hoping to utilize Couchsurfing as we travel to different locations.

It's so hard for me to make lists like this, but off the top of my head I would say that Life Is Beautiful is at least in my top 5 favorite movies, if not the most favorite; I adore Roberto Benigni and Nicoletta Braschi.

My favorite books are mostly those written by Alan Watts, Noam Chomsky, and Tom Robbins. Jitterbug Perfume is probably at the very top of my list of favorite books.

My music taste is alllll over the place but I love Beyonce (of course), Bell Witch, Chelsea Wolfe, Fiona Apple, Fugees, Gogol Bordello, Grimes, Inti-Illamani, Kendrick Lamar, Nooran Sisters, OutKast, Sade, True Widow, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Year of No Light, and 2Pac

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I don't know that I can narrow down one thing that will sound all that amazing (I mean people are tough to impress!) but I would say that the quality of mine that I most appreciate is my courage to uproot and try new things when it feels right. I've done that many times over, and I'm looking forward to my Euro adventure!
