At the mo, I'm looking to get to know the west coast inside and out, particularily Vancouver, which is where I'm situated right now.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At present, I am only able to contribute as an engaging, respectful surfer. One day (knock on wood) I hope to be able to offer my services as a super good host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed couches from Vancouver to St.John's and back again. At this time I wasn't yet a surfer, just a humble tag along to one. I watched his awesome ways and found out that I too could enter this fantastic world. So I did. The rest is (extremely recent) history.

Mostly I spend time chasing shiny things.
I also enjoy planting trees, and I'm paid to do that. So that works out.

Music is a too ridiculously wide subject to delve into here. Basically, anything you've got. Currently I'm diggin' open tuning style celtic guitar, Manu Chao, and anything indie.

Watching my university rugby team win the national championships this past November. All the graduates from last year got together to watch the game. It was amazing to see so many people I know and care about achieve something they had been working so hard for. Go Gryphons!

This past Christmas Eve I was driving out west to the coast for a job. I was in Saskatchewan, and feeling all lonely and on-my-owny and all of a sudden I saw fireworks coming from behind a farmhouse. I pulled over and watched them for what felt like forever. You haven't seen fireworks until you've seen them in Saskatchewan. The sky just goes on and on there.
