ABOUT ME

I'm a college student who loves to travel and tries to whenever I have the time. I'm engaged to my high school sweetheart (I know, super sappy). Reading takes a large part of my time, but I love to help out. Fencing and skiing are my physical addictions, and anytime I can get on a piste (for either) I will. My life is currently being consumed by my undergraduate thesis (ask me about American Trickster Heroes!). I hope to be a librarian someday, and will talk your ear off about freedom of information and basic literacy rights!

PHILOSOPHY

Honest communication can solve almost any problem. And if it doesn't, hey, at least you're on the same page.

I have basic accommodations, and I love to travel and hope to do so soon. I'll meet anyone for coffee/lunch, and show you an awesome time no matter what :)

Not a whole lot. I've hosted a couple of people, most unofficially, but have never traveled before.

I'm an avid reader, and the captain of my fencing team. I love all forms of art (although I won't hesitate to say literature is my favorite) and cooking, which I see as another form of art.

Ron Hubbard, anything by Douglas Adams, and anything by Terry Goodkind. This is a very general list, but alas, only begins to scratch the surface. Basically, any fiction book I pick up I will be able to read, and I like the vast majority of them.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

There have been so many things that have touched my soul, but I think one of the most amazing moments I have ever experianced in my entire life was hiking in Arches National Park; going all the way back into the parts of the park that aren't accessible by any road and repelling down with my mother and sister. We were the only people for miles, and we were surrounded by stone that had stood for long than man's recorded history. You could look from a mountaintop in all directions and see only the desert. It was a moment that really brought out the quiet of the world, and one of those times that you can actually feel your spirit, your essence beating in your core.

I love meeting people who are open about their lives. I have been lucky to be happy, and I love to share that happiness with others. As Neil Gaiman said, "everyone has a secret world inside of them" and everyone has a story... what's yours?
