ABOUT ME

I am an easy-going person, very adaptable, very interested in communicating with other people, in learning about other cultures and places. Love to travel, to try new things even if I don't know anything about them. Love music of all kinds. Find pleasure in small things like looking at a smiling face, watching a kid playing with water in a fountain or eating a cherry. Always amazed by life and all the new oportunities it offers us everyday. I speak spanish and english and understand a bit of french and italian.

PHILOSOPHY

Believe that everything happens for a reason and there is always something good even in bad situations. Life is to enjoy. There is so much inside everyone to be shared with others. Basically we all need love and understanding.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been traveling in Europe for a month and a half now (France, Germany, Austria, Czek Republic, Italy) and I've been in contact with splendid and generous people in all places. I'd like to keep meeting people and also share my time and experiences with them. I am now in Aix en Provence staying at a friend's. From here I can travel to almost anywhere. I am open to meet people if they want to show me some of their countries and culture. I would also like to surf with foreign people who might be in a similar situation, traveling and wanting to enjoy other's company.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had the opportunity to help foreign people at home offering my house, showing them places, putting them in contact with more people (who accommodated them) and I have given them advice in terms of places to visit, roads to take, etc. Thanks to that I've made very nice friends. Also I've traveled to other places and I've been housed and shown around by wonderful people... always surprised to see that if you are open you can find so much in common with others.

Interests

People in general, artistic activities (exhibitions, shows, music, painting etc), dancing, walking around knowing cities and natural places. Learning from life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am interested in almost everything except horror movies that have nothing to offer but scaring people. Like comedy movies that make you relax, deep themes that make you think, and suspense. Books that make you dream, know about other cultures, about another way of seeing life, which make you feel that world is a nice place to live in. I I I love authors with a humorous way of perceiving things. Music of ALL kinds, except heavy metal or electronic music over a long period of time... a little bit is fine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Contemplation of Machu Pichu (Peru) from a high mountain made me want to stop time, even for a moment.
The Perito Moreno Glacier in Argentina just amazed me!
Running after a bicycle in Bolivia so as not to have my baggage stolen near Lake Titicaca at about 3,800m of Altitude was so fun that I will never forget it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to do things with my hands, like painting, drawing, cooking (specially with good company). Like to talk about my experiences, to listen to people and help them if I can. I write about my travels and personal thoughts. Like to discuss almost any subject.
