ABOUT ME

I spent the first part of my life in the Philippines, met some amazing friends in New Jersey, but did most of my "growing up" in the San Francisco Bay Area. I love meeting new people and learning about their cultures and traditions. I try my best to be normal when I meet new people but eventually the fun, crazy side is unleashed and there's just no containing it :)

Also I'm usually pretty adventurous and will try most things as long as it doesn't involve birds (they scare me)

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I recently spent some time volunteering In Bohol, Philippines where a massive earthquake had occurred in October 2013. I joined Project All Hands and our group spent the day demolishing homes and schools to help the island rebuild. It was back breaking, sweaty, grueling manual labor but the most amazing and rewarding part was seeing the children waving, chasing our jeepney, and yelling thank you to us day after day. I've done lots of "cool" things but this was by far the most worthwhile.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can't say I've mastered anything in life yet, but I've taken enough dance lessons to be able to teach a few basic steps. I can also teach English and would love to learn Spanish!
