ABOUT ME

Hello! Most of my free time is spent travelling, running, working, being crazy busy. Love doing exciting, outdoorsy stuff like hiking and also like cooking for friends. I'm a massive fan of the unusal too. I'm easy going, don't take myself too seriously am always ready to laugh at myself!

I love languages and pretty much jump at any opportunity to practice/learn new languages and help others do the same. I try and say yes to every opportunity and most of the time I end up doing cool stuff. I can be persuaded into pretty much anything travelling-wise especially if it means a good anecdote at the end!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined couch surfing for many of the same reasons most people do, to meet new people and to take advantage of a big international exchange, but above all I joined because I love travelling more than anything else! I honestly believe its the best way to educate yourself and to experience the unexpected! As far as I see it, couch surfing, either hosting or staying is win win for everyone!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm currently on a salman Rushdie binge, can't get enough! I love gypsy jazz music and go to a gypsy jazz festival every year in France. On top of that I love a good festival, of any type, for the atmosphere and the live music!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in India at the time of the Floods last summer, and the mountain roads were falling apart left right and centre. One section of road wasn't wide enough for cars to pass so I helped a few local men make it wider with just rocks and sand. It worked for the time-being, but I dont think I'll go in to construction just yet....
