I'm Canadian from Toronto, Canada. I used to work in technology consulting for a large international consulting firm. After 4 years of crazy work hours, I realized that I wasn't happy with my lifestyle at all. So I finally decided to quit my job and travel. Since then, I have traveled to Central America, SE Asia, India, Australia, and New Zealand. When in Guatemala earlier this year, I fell in love with the Latin American culture and decided to stay there for 6 weeks taking Spanish lessons. I then decided to come to Spain to continue learning Spanish and experience the Spanish / European culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking to meet other people, learn more Spanish, and experience the Spanish culture from a local's point of view instead of a tourist. This is my first time trying couchsurfing, so I'm really looking forward to it as I've heard many good stories from friends who have done it in the past.
