I am a university student from Kentucky pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in psychology. I hope to eventually help refugees or victims of human trafficking. I want to help people get out of bad situations and heal from trauma. I love experiencing other cultures and finding beauty in all parts of the world. If I were rich, rather than buying a house or car, I'd travel everywhere. So far, other than the US, I have been to Uganda, Africa and am now studying for one semester in Granada, Spain. I am mainly studying Spanish but also independently study Arabic when I have the time. I enjoy creating things with my hands and like to draw and make temporary tattoos for my friends.
I'm a Christian. I am an introvert and tend to be quiet around large groups of people but I love listening and one on one conversations. I love to hear the stories of people's lives. To relax I enjoy a hot cup of tea, shisha, drawing, writing, sitting in a place with a view and thinking, taking naps.
I enjoy running, hiking, exploring, boxing, physical challenge, drawing, chilling in hookah bars and clubs, gardening, learning about plants and animals, dancing (even though I'm terrible at dancing), talking to strangers, long road trips, flowers, farming, and relaxing with friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy meeting new people and love to travel. Also I cannot afford to stay in hotels every time I travel.
Music, Movies, and Books
I do not know many popular authors and artists. But I love all kinds of music, especially international. I have French, Arabic, African, and Spanish songs among my favorites playlist on YouTube. I do not do very much reading lately but want to get back into the habit. I like movies that are based on important events in history such as the past wars and current world issues such as Shindler's List, Blood Diamond, Beyond the Gates, Gods and Generals, and Band of Brothers.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Made it into the honors program at my university after struggling with a learning disorder for the first half of my education.
