Hey There!

I am traveling to Mexico between June 15th and June 23rd. Looking forward to coming, scuba diving, snorkeling and eating good food!

I currently live in Eugene, Oregon and study Human Physiology and Biology at University of Oregon! I come from Austin, Texas but have lived for one year on Washington DC and the past three years in California. (Northern part by the redwood trees and the ocean). I really enjoy a lot of different aspects of life. Primarily I am an artist and a designer creating patterns out of natural resources. I pin insects into boxes for scientific display. Aside from that I love to read, write, sing, play guitar, knit, hike, practice yoga, enjoy fine foods, wines and really appreciate those who cook because I love to cook as well. I am also a photographer and a cinematographer. I am very clean, considerate and can assure you that I would be a good couch-surfer to ensure a positive experience. My french is very basic and by no means conversational but I try.

I've couch-surfed six nights in Barcelona, a night in Florence and by random a night in Cinque Terre. Now my roommate and I have decided to provide our couch for others to enjoy (-:

Now I am couch surfing in Paris for another month and a half

Interests

butterflies and flowers. I think what I enjoy the most is making people happy, particularly people I don't know in the street that I have never met or ever will meet again. I like to pick flowers and hand them to strangers. I leave inspirational notes on statutes. Bathroom walls, park benches and library in books. I believe in karma, how important it is to be honest.

Music, Movies, and Books

Right now my favorite singer is Billie Holiday. I love all types of music but my favorite genre is African jam. Any sounds of flutes, drums, cool noices. For example, Sean kuti, any of the toure brothers, etc and now recently- more dj inclined: clap clap!. I also enjoy bands like quantic, south American sounds of birds and drums. Of course Bella fleck, John fahey. I love classical music. A basic and intense cello piece can really hit the spot sometimes. Right now I am particularly listening to more jazz and blues. I can sing jazz, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie holiday and others.
