🚴‍♂️ Woohoo! Let me tell you about my epic bicycle tour of South India! 🌞

In July 2022, I hit the road on my trusty bicycle🚴‍♂️ to explore the stunning sights and sounds of this beautiful region. And boy, was it an adventure! 🤩

I pedaled my way through some of the most breathtaking routes, covering a total of about 600 km! 🌄 From Hassan to Kukke Subramanya, then on to Yekkar in Mangalore, and all the way down to Kanhangad in Kerala, then back to Mangalore. It was an incredible journey, filled with new experiences and unforgettable memories.

But, unfortunately, my journey had to come to an abrupt end 😔 as I broke a bone in a ride from Mangalore to Belthangadi.😬 But hey, that's all part of the adventure, right?

Now, I'm recovering and planning my next big adventure. Who knows where my trusty bicycle will take me next? 🤔 Maybe you can join me on my next ride! 🤗 at least morally 🤪

During my amazing bicycle tour, I had the pleasure of staying with three awesome Couchsurfing hosts 🙌, in an ashram 🕉️ and even in a Christian retreat center ⛪! Talk about diverse experiences, right?! 🤩

And the best part? I managed to cover the entire trip on a shoestring budget of just Rs. 4000! Can you imagine that? 😜

From exploring new places to meeting amazing people, my journey was nothing short of incredible. And I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity to experience it all.

🚴‍♂️ Cycling: The open road is my playground! When I'm on my bicycle, I feel free and alive. There's nothing quite like the rush of a long ride where all you can focus on is the wind in your hair and the road ahead.

🐶🐱 Animals: I'm a huge animal lover, but dogs and cats hold a special place in my heart. I'm fascinated by all creatures big and small, including snakes, kites, and eagles. In fact, I've even rescued a few!

🎧 Audiobooks: Why read when you can listen? Sometimes, I prefer to immerse myself in a good audiobook and let the narrator's voice carry me away to another world.

📖 Reading: I'm a bit of a sporadic reader. When I pick up a book, I can easily get lost in it for hours. But when I'm not in the mood, I just can't seem to pick one up. 🤷‍♂️

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

🚴‍♂️🌄 There's nothing like a good adventure, and mine was a 600km bicycle tour! 🚵‍♂️💨 I pedaled through mountains, valleys, and everything in between. It was a true test of endurance and willpower, but I came out the other side feeling like a champion! 🥇

🎣🛶 But that's not all! I also went fishing in a Coracle (ತೆಪ್ಪ) and I wasn't just a passenger, I was the captain of the ship! 🧑‍✈️🌊 With my trusty oar, I navigated the waters like a pro, helping my fellow fishermen catch all sorts of fish along the way. It was an experience I'll never forget! 🐟🌅
