About Me
Hey there, wanderlusters! 🌍
I’m Roshan Christopher Gonsalves (yes, 26 letters! 😜), but you can just call me Gonzy. I'm a travel freak, a proud minimalist, and a lover of peaceful, sustainable living. That means no 🚭 or 🍺 for me—just pure adventure!
My Story 🚴♂️ 🏖️
Born and raised in Hoskote, Bangalore 🌇 in a Mangalorean family, I’m now on a mission to meet people from all walks of life. I’m always up for exploring scenic routes or lounging on a beach.
The "Epic South India" Tour 🌞
In 2022, I bicycled through Hassan, Mangalore, and Kerala! It was an incredible shoestring-budget journey (just Rs. 4000! 🤑) where I stayed in:
• Three awesome Couchsurfing homes 🙌
• An Ashram 🕉️
• A Christian retreat center ⛪
My ride ended slightly early with a broken bone 😬, but that’s just part of the story! I’m currently recovering and dreaming up the next big route.
I believe an open mind and a bicycle are all you need to see the world. Let’s connect and make some unforgettable memories together! 🤗 💛
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Why I’m Here 🤝🌍
Traveling is my jam! 🧳 I joined Couchsurfing because I believe the best way to experience a culture is through its people. From sharing meals to swapping travel stories, the connections I’ve made here have truly enriched my life. 🤩
It’s a two-way street for me: I’m not just here to surf; I’m here to give back! ❤️ Whether it’s sharing my skills, helping a host with a project, or just bringing positive energy to your home, I want to leave every place a little better than I found it. 🚀
Let’s explore this beautiful world and make some unforgettable memories together! 🎉🌴

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
🚴♂️🌄 There's nothing like a good adventure, and mine was a 600km bicycle tour! 🚵♂️💨 I pedaled through mountains, valleys, and everything in between. It was a true test of endurance and willpower, but I came out the other side feeling like a champion! 🥇
🎣🛶 But that's not all! I also went fishing in a Coracle (ತೆಪ್ಪ) and I wasn't just a passenger, I was the captain of the ship! 🧑✈️🌊 With my trusty oar, I navigated the waters like a pro, helping my fellow fishermen catch all sorts of fish along the way. It was an experience I'll never forget! 🐟🌅
