I am Roshan Thapa from Pokhara, Nepal. By the time, I am 29 years old (couldn’t update my age in profile, sorry for that). I have been working in the field of Travel, Treks, Tourism and Hospitality for the past 10 years in Pokhara. I also worked as a Teacher for around 6 years which was my Part time job.

I am here at coach surfing to assist all the visitors in Nepal.
I worked at a German Hotel with my German boss before 10 yrs, where service used to be very accurate, punctual and excellent. I tried to find out other places to work after I had to quit my job there. But its very difficult to be under Nepalese Management. You can't work out with Nepalese timing if you do not make a wise choice for Hotels, travel or treking agencies here. Punctuality seems to be the greatest problem here. Filling up the hotel rooms is only what matters with the hotel owners. I was really frustrated with the systems here. You all can view the reviews of most of the hotels in Nepal. Almost all have problems related to unavailability of hot water, very slow wifi, cockroaches in the room, smell of cigarettes, disturbance at night due to drunkards/loud musics/banging doors/prostitutes and late service. Please do not fully believe the tripadvisor here. I have found one of the top hotels here which deserves to be below average ranking. But you can definitely find some high class luxury hotels and good agencies for your trip to Nepal. Never think that cheapest services are the worst and expensive ones are the best one here.
If you need any help, please feel easy to contact me. I am not taking any charges for helping you with the information. Sometimes I may not be available for few days when I go trekking. I will recommend you the best service providers in Pokhara according to your budget limits.
The main reason I am here is to help the visitors and trekkers in Pokhara and Annapurna region while I dont go for treks. I dont have any works to do when I dont have treks. Its a way for me to spend my leisure helping you guys.
