Indian - born and raised in Kuwait - I guess I'm what they call a third culture kid.

Good with numbers, but disappointed my parents by working in film making and media. Always had an itch to travel - so figured travel writing was the way to go. Worked briefly for Lonely Planet. Eventually found myself in financial technology(long story). I've been able to work remotely (finally!) for a few years now.

The upside to working remotely is all moving around it affords me, doing it at my own pace - I try stay at least for a month in a country/city. But on the downside - I can't really host, which is a shame.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Always open to meeting people from different places and circumstances. Listening to their stories and view points - which challenges and enriches my own - is what traveling is finally all about for me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once bought a boarding pass off of some dude outside an airport and travelled with it.

Not amazing exactly, but just something that's a great story, but would never try again (maybe).
