About Me

I graduated school in 2014 and decided to take a gap year between school and university. Currently I am working as an international volunteer at a charity in Hemel Hempstead, England and very much enjoy being abroad and meeting loads of new people.
I would describe myself as a very enthusiastic and open-minded person that loves to travel, see new things and meet new people along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it's a great way to travel, see new places and meet new people.

Interests

I am very passionate about music as I love to sing and also play the guitar, the piano or the saxophone. I listen to all kinds of music... from pop to punk-rock there's a little bit of everything.
I also love playing tennis, running or going for a hike.
Further to this, I enjoy learning about other cultures as growing up, I have experienced a mix of cultures myself (I was born in Bulgaria, lived in Japan for a year, moved to Germany and now stay in England).

Music, Movies, and Books

It is really difficult for me to pick favourite music, as I listen to such a broad range of artist, but some of my favourites are Coldplay, One Republic, Fall Out Boy, Taylor Swift, Linkin Park and maaaany more ;)

Favourite Books of mine are Harry Potter and the Hunger Games trilogy-

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I've done is join a club at school that has established a partnership between the school I went to and a school in Tansania. We organized fundraiser events to collect donations for our partner school and be able to help it develop further.
The best part was that in October 2013 I was given the opportunity to go to Tansania for a month and experience everything we had accomplished and also take part in an intercultural exchange with the Tansanian students.
This month in Tansania has in many ways influnced me as a person and will probably stay with me forever... therefore I think that it's really something amazing!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to share my culture and my knowledge about various other things... depending on what our common interests might be.
