About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To go through life, not around it

ABOUT ME

I like music, summer thunderstorms and Indi 500 bikes. I enjoy learning French and hope to learn many more languages in the future. I think other cultures are the coolest and can't wait to get amongst them all while I am overseas.

PHILOSOPHY

Take nothing for granted; not even this statement.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I anticipate being a very good couchsurfer, and when I get a place where I actually have room to have house-guests, a very good provider of couches as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't couchsurfed yet...this will hopefully change soon! Well, I kind of couchsurfed last year - I was on my way from Belfast to Cambridge to stay with a friend I'd met in Cyprus (couchsurfing in itself!) and met up with a great guy called Chris, who it turned out was going to Cambridge as well. When I returned to the UK to get my flight home at the end of my trip (with minimal funds)and another friend cancelled on me, he put me up in his pokey college room for 3 nights, sourcing blankets, a mattress and pillow from friends in his area - he was a total lifesaver. And it was a great experience too!

Music, Movies, and Books

Brideshead Revisited, Catch 22, Donnie Darko, Muse, Bloc Party, Deerhunter, Glee, Beirut, music that isn't: heavy metal or annoying. F and Eb Major. And A on a good day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw Hale Bopp (a comet) pass over our sky when I was a little girl. It only comes around every 120 years!

Going to the UN HQ in Cyprus was also pretty sweet.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm pretty good at singing, playing the viola, public speaking, being hilarious and conducting mock-UN debate sessions.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cyprus, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Monaco, Morocco, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia
