Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I travelled with my best friend to Jeju Island, South Korea in May 2017. We met a kind-hearted Korean man who at first hesitated to talk when we asked about the direction to the waterfall. But then he offered a car ride when he saw us walking on the road heading to the waterfall direction. He took us to the glass museum, local market and we had the best traditional food at a small “hidden” restaurant that only local people knows its existance. Even though we can’t communicate much due to the language barrier, but we enjoyed spending time together for the whole afternoon.

After that trip, I signed up for hosting on Couchsurfing. I want to connect with other travellers and give you more insights about my city from a local’s perspective.

Intereses

I started to volunteer for Trash Hero in my city since December 2021. Since then, I started to avoid / reduce single use plastics. Whenever I free, I’ll join the beach cleanup during weekends. I hope we can bring awareness to the people about plastic pollution.
