I'm an American fully aware of all the faults of my country, yet I love her anyway. I'm a recent graduate just trying to educate myself on the world and the people who live in it. Currently I'm out in the world trying to meet new people, interact with different cultures, and learn through experience. So far it's been an incredible journey.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've only recently heard about couchsurfing and it's incredible community. Before this I've been staying at hostels and would like to see what couchsurfing is like.

Interests

I have a variety of different interests. Outside of badminton, I enjoy watching and playing pretty much every sport. I really love to eat. Honestly, putting quality food in my mouth is probably one of my favorite things to do on this Earth. I love writing and aspire to do it as a profession. If you read some of my writings you'd understand that's a few years down the road.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music consists of pretty much every single 90s one-hit-wonder, Blink 182, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Barenaked Ladies, The Weeks (they're current) and an assortment of others. My favorite movie of all time is Good Will Hunting, closely followed by The Sandlot, The Usual Suspects, Dazed and Confused and many others. My favorite book is Peace Like A River by Leif Enger. Once again that book is closely followed by To Kill A Mockingbird, House of the Scorpion, the Harry Potter Series, and various others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been on an African safari 8 times in my life and have some incredible stories from them: like being two inches away from a lion when I was 6.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm an incredibly positive and outgoing person and I like to believe that rubs off on people in some occasions. Learning to me is unexpected. I'll always be learning and every day I learn something new, but it's never what I expected it to be when I wake up in the morning. Share experiences. Every where I travel I meet new people and encounter a new experience I share with that person for the rest of my life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share stories. I like to believe I'm a slightly above average story teller and am always down to tell a few stories or listen. Either one works for me.
