Overview
About Me
I work in Montana during the summer as a fly fishing guide. I love to travel in the off season, and spend as much time outside as I can. Laid back and easy going, not trying to "grow up" anytime soon :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love getting off the tourist trail and experiencing something genuine and different.
Interests
I'd consider myself a true nature nerd. I tend to get lost in a city, but have no problem following ridge lines and navigating the bush.
- hiking
- backpacking
- hunting
- surfing
- fly fishing
- birding
Music, Movies, and Books
One book that always comes to mind - Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Possibly hitchhiking 1,500 miles in Patagonia, from Ushuaia to Bariloche. Que Lindo!
What I Can Share with Hosts
The life cycle of a mayfly, how to skip a good stone, how to tell the difference between a fir, spruce, or pine, when to use your bear spray, the best trek in Patagonia, and a good dance song or two :)
