About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Figuring out what I want to be when I grow up.

ABOUT ME

Negative first: I hit my head on things sometimes because I'm tall.

Positive things: I'm always open to new experiences. I also like to bike, to go out, to stay in, to make friends, to beer, and to food.

I'm currently a graduate student getting my masters in wind conducting at the University of Wisconsin.

PHILOSOPHY

"A good laugh and a long sleep are the two best cures for anything."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

“Travel changes you. As you move through this life and this world you change things slightly, you leave marks behind, however small. And in return, life - and travel - leaves marks on you. Most of the time, those marks - on your body or on your heart - are beautiful. Often, though, they hurt.” - Anthony Bourdain

Music, Movies, and Books

Rock, Classical, Jazz, Folk, Rap, etc.... I would love talking with you about your favorite music. Even though I study music doesn't mean I know anything about it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My most musical experience was at a football game.

I studied abroad in Chile for 7 weeks, and I went to a student protest.

I once biked the Munger Trail for 160 miles. I hope that happens again.

Sorry, that was three things.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Canada, Chile, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Netherlands, Spain, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States
