Hi, I'm Ross!

I've been living in New Zealand for the past two years after attending university on the Atlantic coast of Canada, but have managed to sneak off and travel around Asia for a bit as well in the past two years.

My most recent job was working at a ski resort in Queenstown, NZ - I drove around a snowmobile and made fake snow so people would have something to ski on.

2018 has been a very interesting year for me - making new friends, learning to climb mountains, and dealing with life threatening situations.

I've heard great things about Couchsurfing from some of my friends and I love to meet people from other parts of the world and do things I might not normally do!

I'd much rather spend time in a new city at the locals spots and connecting with someone who lives/works/studies in the city I am visiting rather than trying to socialise with hostel-goers who are there to see the sights during the day and party all night.

I haven't really had a proper place to call home over the past two years, but plan on hosting people regularly when I move back to Canada.
