My name Rostyslav (friends call me Ros) and I am from the west of Ukraine. Now I live in Kyiv and study medicine for the last 3 years. As I will be a doctor I have to study A LOT. So, I have very little free time. And all I want to do in my free time is to explore new cultures, talk with open-minded people, simply saying - travel. I am in search of myself. It helps me find my way. It gives me real inspiration for living. And also a lot of happiness to share it with people. If you have heard nothing about Ukraine - I will fix it. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is great that Couchsurfing can give us. I talk about sharing. People around the world are very different. It is a priviledge to have a possibility explore this differences with Couchsurfing. Besides, I don't want to stay in a tight hostels or in boring hotels. I will rather explore and discover new city in the very best way - with their livings. I can tell people about my beautiful country and get more deep knowledges about Yours one. It is a better way of sharing cultures that it could be.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like very different music. My playlist mostly made of alternative and indie-rock bands and singers like The Black Keys, Arctic Monkeys, Cage the Elephant, Foals, etc. But I also like dancing on r&b, soul or electronic like Calvin Harris, Rudimental, The Internet, Jungle, Odesza.

If we talk about movies, I like art-house a lot. Godard, Coppola, Kubrick, Truffaut are producers which films I can watch on replay.

I read a lot of medical literature. So, it is my main source of books. But I like reading Hemingway, Hesse, Salinger and other famous classics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spend a month of summer living in a camping without any comfort things.

I can tell a lot about medicine. But it is better to go to the doctor rather ask me ;)
