About Me

CURRENT MISSION

make a Kung Pao Chicken BBQ Burrito

ABOUT ME

Eternal student and teacher during the day, alien stilt walker and general weirdo at night. I love traveling and long conversations about everything from what's wrong with the government to why is everything tasty on earth crunchy outside and gooey inside? Mountains and the deep sea are my favorite places. And I'm concerned that not enough things levitate in space.

Interests

I do research in International Relations, which gives me a lot of excuses to travel around - it's called "field research" ha. In my non-nerdy time I love to go hiking and dancing, everything from salsa to electronic music. I play jarana (a Mexican string instrument) terribly and sing even worse! I have a feeble for activities that I'm not rich enough to actually do: sailing, scuba diving, air ship construction (one day)...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Dancing electronic tango in an occupied synagogue in Buenos Aires was a memorable moment. Singing Japanese anime songs with a Korean black belt master and Brazilian mormons was awesome too. The most magic moment of all was in Patagonia, while climbing a snow-covered mountain we could see the full moon set and the sun rise at the same time. All of these things happend with fellow hospitalityclub/couchsurfers by the way. :o)
