ABOUT ME

I am 22years old, I am a student at The University of Cincinnati, college of DAAP, studying urban planning and sociology. I live in a giant old house that was built in the 1800's. i have 5 other roommates and we have a 150pound french mastiff dog named LeRoy, so if you dont like dogs dont stay at my place.

I grew up in Columbus, OH and still visit home often. I am very close with all of my family and have family all over the United States. I have 1 brother who is only a year younger than me and we are very close.

I live in Cincinnati, OH now and i love it here, i moved to cincinnati when i was 18 to attend college. it is a great place to live and such an amazing city, come visit sometime.

I am a very out going person and love to meet new people. i will try anything once and i dont like to say no. i love to travel with friends and family more than anything else.

I spend my free time with my dog LeRoy, most weekends i take him to the dog park and we just hangout and play. I also play club volleyball and it is my favorite sport to play. I played tennis, ice hockey and ran track and cross country in high school, i am very athletic and like to take part in any physical activity.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life for today, i just want to enjoy life and have fun. i dont have any regrets and i often like to do stupid things and make a fool out of myself but as long as i'm having fun thats okay. friendship means the world to me and i love to make to new and great friends as often as possible.
there is so much to do and see in life but their is so little time and its hard to balance everything, but i try my hardest and i do my best. i am not perfect in any way and i never will be but thats okay.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I plan to participate in CS by contacting fellow couch surfers when i am traveling the world to surf their couch and become better friends with them and get their help and advise while traveling in their city.
I plan to host fellow couch surfers at my home in Cincinnati when i am not traveling and help traveling to enjoy my city and have fun their, i want everyone to see what an amazing city Cincinnati is!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no experience yet but i plan to travel a lot in the near future so i will update this as soon as i have gotten to experience CS

Interests

I am interested in everything:
people, places,sports, food, clothing, animals, design, culture, society, traveling, making new friends, having new experiences, going out of my comfort zone.

I am a huge Cincinnati Bearcats fan. i go to every UC football game in the fall and i try to attend as many of their basketball games as i can.

I am studying Urban Planning because i have a strong intrest in improving the quality of live in urban areas. I want to be a city planner because i want to improve city life and make cities a desirable and enjoyable place to live again.
I also have a strong interest in historic preservation and in old cities and neighborhoods today so many beautiful historic homes are demolished in order to build crummy apartment building, as i planner i want to put a stop to this.
I am studying Sociology because i am interested in people and how they interact with one another in society. I want to study the problems in society and fix them. i want to understand why society is what it is and how to improve a society to make life within more enjoyable.

I love movies, any movie i havent seen i want to see.

I like to read but i dont very often and i dont have any favorite books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing experience i have had was spending the summer of 2010 in Shanghai China. i participated in a Global Forum for University Students hosted by Shanghai Jiaotong University. there were college students from all over the world there and they were some of the best friends i have ever made. During the day we had seminars and lectures related to urban and environmental issues and at night we partied like there was no tomorrow. it was an amazing experience! and shanghai is my favorite city on earth
