Tell me a little about yourself and your trip if you would like to meet up or be hosted.

I'm in Cardiff studying a social science degree. I am able to potentially accept guests for the first time in a while, though it's not super convenient yet and I can't host a large group. I'm very happy to meet up with people around Cardiff or try to help you find your way around. One of my partners, John, stays with often and he loves to meet new people and will happily show you places around that have coffee and cake. My cat Gina would probably be pleased to be petted by you if you do come to stay.

I like to be myself, and I'm trying be as stable and comfortable as I can be at the moment without feeling trapped.

I'm complex and confusing, but I believe I am brave enough to live my life the way I think is best without conforming to cultural norms.

I'm 'polyamorous' - so I have several serious relationships. You might find me talking about various partners - it can get confusing but you don't really need to worry about it or bother remembering all their names ;).

I have hosted a few travellers so far and not stayed with or travelled with anyone from couchsurf. I am very impressed with this site, I look forward to participating much more in the future. I am not particularly well travelled, but I'm doing what I can. I don't feel like you have to go far to learn something new, but perhaps if I try it some time I'll see some things that are very new and gain new perspective on all that is familiar.

Really the thing that draws me to couchsurfing is the sense of community. I love that some people trust each other enough to simply give their time and space to others, and that people are considerate enough that they haven't lost faith and can keep doing it. I think it's really important to some people to be open and share with others, and I'm one of those people. It doesn't mean I'm a metaphorical doormat, I have firm boundaries, but I just enjoy being open to knowing and sharing with others. It's liberating to have strangers trust me, and inspiring to have them invite me to stay in far away places.

I could show people how to knit or cook if they wanted but only in a fairly basic gradmotherlike fashion.

I would like to learn Yoga and sewing skills. I also like hearing or trying to learn bits of other languages. I plan to learn some German as well as some Welsh, although I'm focussing on my education in other topics at the moment.
