I'm Rowan from Egypt, I'm 20 years old. I'm studying English literature in Ain Shams university.
I have passion towards different cultures and languages, I can speak Arabic, English, French and a little Korean that I learned by myself a year ago and I also started learning Polish two months ago. I'm a volleyball player, I have been playing volleyball for 14 years now.
I like to motivate people, empower and hep others. I have a dream and willing to achieve it, I wish I could speak at least seven languages and to travel to every country I learn its language and know its culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about it and thought it could help me as I'm self-funded and as I said before I want to travel abroad but it will be kind of expensive for me and too much that I can't afford, like the accommodation and food, that's why when I knew about Couchsurfing I immediately checked it out.

Interests

I like reading about different cultures and countries, I like writing and I write poems and short stories. I also like teaching children or adults and that kind of language exchange, and to motivate others, to help them improve themselves and their skills. I like playing volleyball so much and I like watching foreign movies and series so much.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot of kind of music and in many languages but my favorite kind of music is Alternative Rock and my favorite bands are: Banners, Bring Me The Horizon, Seafret, Breaking Benjamin , Linkin Park, The Fray, Of Men And Monsters, LemON (and it's a Polish band), Moda (and it's an Italian band).

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach any of these languages; Arabic, English and French, I can teach how to play volleyball, how to cook Egyptian food.

Egyptian snacks and gifts, maybe cook some Egyptian food, share languages, knowledge about my country culture and traditions and have some fun with each other^^
